Change of service for some routes in Bracknell

From Monday 22nd November in consultation with Bracknell Forest Council, we’re making temporary changes to some services to help us run buses while we recruit more drivers.
We’re sorry we haven’t been able to run buses to our normal standard recently, and these temporary timetables should help us maintain a more reliable service.
The services affected by the temporary arrangements are:
Service 108 – Service suspended on Monday to Saturday, please see alternative services E1 and E2
Service 150 – Service suspended on Monday to Saturday, please see alternative services E1, E2 and E3
Services 157/8 - Service suspended on Monday to Saturday, please see alternative services E1, E2 and E3
Service 194 – Reduced frequency between approximately 1000 and 1430 on Monday to Friday, and suspension of late evening journeys on Monday to Saturday.
Please see the news section on our website for more details.

Face coverings on public transport

The Prime Minister announced over the weekend that face coverings are to be mandatory in shops and on public transport again from Tuesday 30th November due to the Omicron variant of Coronavirus reaching our shores. We thought it best to just reiterate some points about face coverings - although we have been encouraging you all to wear them throughout anyway!

As per the government's guidance,you must wear a face covering when travelling with us. This can be a homemade mask or a simple covering such as a scarf.
whilst we are happy for any face covering to be used, guidance from the NHS suggests that effective face coverings should have the following
* a nose wire
* have at least two/three layers of material
* fit snugly over mouth, nose and chin

Please note, if you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a face covering, you can still use the bus without one and there are other exemptions.
When wearing face coverings, remember to not touch your face or adjust the covering until you are off the bus - and to wash/sanitise your hands before you do.

All our frontline employees have company-issued reusable face masks for them to use if they wish, but the guidance indicates that our drivers do not have to wear a facial covering - especially as they are separated from customers by a screen.
