Network Ticket Changes

1 month ago Wed 25th Aug 2021

We are advising our customers that from Wednesday 1st September 2021 we will be making some changes to our Network tickets.

  • Our weekly and 4-weekly Adult Network tickets purchased on our app or through our online shop are being reduced by up to 15%.

  • Our existing Child and Busta tickets will be combined into a Boost ticket range, which will be available for anyone 18 years and under and also available to students aged 19-21 who attend a local college or university and show a valid student ID. Boost tickets have been rolled out to all our ticket types with the exception of Network group of tickets, so we are now bringing these into line.

  • As we have introduced other methods of purchase, 4-weekly tickets will no longer be available to purchase on the bus. These tickets can be purchased through the Thames Valley Buses app, or from our website shop if you have a smartcard or wish to order one.  Weekly tickets will be cheaper if purchased through our app or through our shop for smartcard users.

Customers who already have our child and Busta smartcards with 4-week tickets loaded will be able to top-up in our online shop the same way as before, but in the age section, you will now only see the Boost option. You will not need a new smartcard, the current yellow (child) and green (Busta) will work side-by-side as one product although we are planning on renewing these soon.
